Cue Counting Crows’ “Colorblind” tune! Fans of the 1999 romance drama Cruel Intentions are allowed to officially freak out right about now, because Sarah Michelle Gellar just relived her Kathryn Merteuil days. The actress attended Cruel Intentions, the Unauthorized Musical Parody at L.A.’s Rockwell Table and Stage on Friday, April 10.
Gellar reunited with her costar Sean Patrick Thomas (Ronald Clifford) and writer Roger Kumble for the special event. The trio sat at the same table, and cheered on the cast, which included American Idol alum Katie Stevens (Kathryn), Jared Kusnitz (Blaine Tuttle), Constantine Rousouli (Sebastian Valmont), and Pitch Perfect’s Shelley Regner (Cecile Caldwell). The musical included some of the most iconic dialogue from the film and mixed in some epic ’90s songs.
